Ambassador Khatri held a meeting with Ambassador Kelly Keiderling, Deputy Assistant Secretary, Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs of the United States Department of State at her office on March 21, 2022. During the meeting the two sides discussed on various issues of mutual interests, including development cooperation, revival of Congressional Nepal Caucus, promotion of trade and investment, Democracy Summit, climate change, among others. Ambassador Khatri thanked the US government for its patience and understanding during the ratification of the MCC Compact and expressed his intention to work jointly towards further promoting mutually beneficially bilateral relations.
