To mark the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Nepal and the United States, the Embassy hosted a musical evening by Sur Sudha, the legendary Nepali classical band, among the guests from various US government departments, diplomatic corps in Washington, D.C. and friends of Nepal, at the Embassy on 10 November. The artists performing in the evening were: its founder and lead member Mr. Surendra Shrestha on Tabala, Mr. Raman Maharjan on flute, Mr. Bikas Sunar on guitar, and Ms. Saraswati Khatri on vocals.
