नेपालमा कोभिड-19 को रोकथाम तथा उपचारका लागि संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिकाबाट अपेक्षा गरिएका अत्यावश्यक स्वास्थ्य सामग्रीहरु

नेपालमा कोभिड-19 भाइरसको संक्रमण पछिल्ला दिनहरुमा तीव्र गतिमा बढिरहेको र अत्यावश्यक औषधी, स्वास्थ्य उपकरण तथा सामग्रीको कमीको कारण उपचारमा समस्या आउनुका साथै कोभिडका कारण मृत्यु हुनेको संख्यामा निरन्तर वृद्धि भैरहेको छ।

यस्तो अवस्थामा संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिकास्थित नेपाली समुदाय, अमेरिकी गैह्र सरकारी तथा मानवीय संघसंस्था एवम् निजी क्षेत्रले सहयोगको लागि चासो देखाउनुभएकोमा राजदूतावास धन्यवाद व्यक्त गर्दछ।

यस मानवीय विपत्तीको घडीमा नेपाल सरकारले प्राथमिकतामा राखेका निम्नबमोजिमका सामग्री नेपाललाई उपलब्ध गराउन इच्छुक गैह्र सरकारी एवम् मानवीय संघसंस्था, निजी क्षेत्र र व्यक्तिहरुलाई राजदूतावास हार्दिक अनुरोध गर्दछ।

उल्लेखित प्राथमिकताका सामग्रीहरु सिधै स्वास्थ्य तथा जनसंख्या मन्त्रालयले प्राप्त गर्नेगरी देहायको ठेगानामा कार्गो गरी पठाउन सकिनेछः

उल्लेखित सामाग्रीहरु माथि उल्लेखित ठेगानामा पठाउँदा बिजक (invoice/airway bill) मा सामानको विवरण (specification), परिमाण र मुल्य खुलाई पठाउनु पर्नेछ। यसरी पठाइएको सामान भन्सार बिन्दुमा   नेपाल सरकार, स्वास्थ्य तथा जनसंख्या मन्त्रालयको तर्फबाट भन्सार छुट लगायतका आवश्यक प्रकृया पूरा गरी बुझिलिने व्यवस्था मिलाइएको छ।

Critical medical supplies expected from the United States to fight COVID-19 pandemic in Nepal

Nepal is facing massive infection of COVID-19 virus in the recent days.  Insufficient essential medicines, health equipment and vaccines is posing a great challenge in the treatment of COVID-19 cases and, as a result, the death figures are on the rise unabated.

The Embassy is thankful of the concerns and interest shown for support by Nepali diaspora in the United States, American non-governmental/humanitarian organizations, private sector and individuals in this difficult situation.

In this context, the Embassy would like to inform that the following medical items have been prioritized by the Government of Nepal for seeking support. These essential medical supplies could be made available in Nepal by all interested non-governmental/humanitarian organizations, private sector and individuals.

Essential medical supplies (with detailed specifications) prioritized by the Government of Nepal:

The Government of Nepal does not accept food supplies, clothing and any type of used items in the form of relief materials.

 The above listed prioritized materials can be directly shipped to the Ministry of Health and Population of the Government of Nepal with following address:

While sending the above listed materials, the shipper has to clearly specify the specifications, quantity and cost of the goods in the Invoice/Air waybill. The Government of Nepal has made all arrangements, including customs clearance at the customs points of Nepal for receiving above listed materials by the representatives of the Ministry of Health and Population.
