Finance Minister Hon. Janardan Sharma today held a bilateral meeting with the Minister of Finance of Thailand Hon. Arkhom Termpittayapaisith on the sideline of the 53rd Joint Governor’s annual meeting of the IMF and World Bank Group in Washington, D.C. The two Ministers exchanged views on mutual cooperation between the two countries in relevant global forums for economic stability and recovery. Other topics featured during the meeting include: promoting tourism, especially religious tourism to Lumbini; improving connectivity; educational and training exchanges; and trade promotion. Finance Secretary Krishna Hari Pushkar accompanied the Minister in the meeting.
