Ambassador Sridhar Khatri gave away the trophy to the winners of the 2nd Annual DC Nepali Golf Championship at the Herndon Centennial Golf Course on August 25, 2023. The annual competition enables golfers of Nepali origin to compete and build relationships through golf.
This year, the championship was held on August 25 between the Yaks, led by Captain Hardik Chand, and the Yetis, led by Captain Sid Uprety. The Yaks prevailed in the tournament, winning 3 to 2.
