The Embassy participated in ‘Passport DC Around the World Embassy Tour 2024’, an annual cultural event hosted by D.C. Events on the 4th of May 2024 at University of District of Columbia (UDC) in Washington, D.C. The Embassy thanks Himalayan Doko restaurant for offering the tastes of Nepali food, Xudu for showcasing Nepali handicraft products, and Janakpur Art and Craft Center for exhibiting Mithila paintings. We also appreciate K.C. Dance Center and America Nepal Society (ANS) for providing artists and volunteers for the event. We appreciate multiple Guiness book record holder Nepali Parkour player Dinesh Sunar for demonstrating his parkour skills while attempting a new world record. Ambassador Sridhar Khatri visited the Embassy booth and appreciated those involved in organizing the event. The Embassy thanks all visitors and participants for their time and efforts to promote Nepal’s cultural and tourism attractions in the event. More than two thousand D.C. residents visited the Embassy’s booth this year.
