The Embassy congratulates newly appointed USAID Mission Director Katie Donohoe and wishes her a successful tenure in Nepal. CDA Kumar Raj Kharel attended the swearing-in ceremony at the USAID headquarters, where USAID Administrator Samantha Power administered the oath of office to the new Mission Director. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Kharel appreciated USAID’s long-standing partnership in Nepal’s development efforts and requested continued US support in Nepal’s priority sectors.
