The Embassy congratulates Ms. Urmila Chaudhary for winning the Secretary of State Global Anti-Racial Award and appreciates her works in the field of empowering the women, particularly, her dedication towards uplifting the situation of girl children who have been the victim of domestic servitude in Nepal. The Embassy also thanks and appreciates the US Government for recognizing the important works of Ms. Chaudhary in Nepal. Charge’ d’Affaires, a.i. Mr. Kumar Raj Kharel attended the award presentation ceremony hosted by the Secretary of State Antony Blinken on 21st October at the State Department. Ms. Chaudhary was later welcomed at the Embassy in the afternoon.
