Ambassador H.E. Dr. Yuba Raj Khatiwada delivered a virtual lecture to a group of students at the United States Army War College on US-Nepal Relations and South Asia on May 25, 2021. The participants were a mix of the US and international students. During the address, Ambassador Khatiwada highlighted the significance of the US-Nepal relations at bilateral level and the US support and cooperation to Nepal since the establishment of diplomatic relations. In an interactive session, he candidly responded to the queries and concerns raised by the participants, mainly on issues related to climate change; food, energy and water security; impact of COVID -19 pandemic in tourism and economy of Nepal; and security dimensions of South Asia. The event was coordinated by Dr Patrick Bratton, Professor of National Security and Strategy, Department of National Security and Strategy at the United States Army War College.
