On 27th July 2024, the Embassy hosted a special Nepali cultural evening in collaboration with the D.C.-based social and networking organization, Things to Do DC. Addressing the gathering, which mostly consisted of D.C. residents and other US citizens, Chargé d’Affaires Kumar Raj Kharel highlighted Nepal’s rich natural and cultural heritage, as well as the attractive investment opportunities in Nepal. The evening featured authentic Nepali food, dance performances, and cultural and tourism documentaries highlighting Nepal’s cultural and tourism attractions. The event also offered an opportunity for the participants to network with D.C.-based young professionals, Nepali youth, and entrepreneurs in a unique Nepali cultural setting.
