On September 23, 2024, the Prime Minister of Nepal, Rt. Hon. K P Sharma Oli delivered a keynote address titled “Nepal’s Journey to Democracy and Economic Prosperity” at Columbia University in New York. In his remarks, Prime Minister Oli emphasized that the national vision of ‘Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali’ aims to eliminate poverty and secure the right of all citizens to live with dignity. Following his speech, Prime Minister Oli engaged in an interactive session with students and other attendees.
