The Embassy acquired the RamSita painting from Sunila Bajracharya, a renowned Nepali Artist based in California. RamSita now decorates the halls of the Ambassador’s residence and has been added to the Embassy’s collection of fine Nepali art.
Sunila is a founding member of Kasthamandap Art Studio and is currently a curator at Cedars Fine Arts Studio. Sunila’s background and heritage as a Nepali, mother, and daughter are exhibited in her art. You can find more of Sunila’s art at https://www.instagram.com/art_sunila/.
