On August 22nd, 2023, Ambassador Sridhar Khatri paid a courtesy call on the Honorable Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-Maryland) at his office in Capitol Hill. On the occasion, Ambassador Khatri and the Senator exchanged views on various aspects of Nepal-US relations, including progress made by Nepal in strengthening democracy and the impact of US economic support on the country’s development.
