Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli Arrives in New York for 79th UN General Assembly, Set for High-Level Meetings and University Addresses at Columbia and Harvard

The Rt. Hon. KP Sharma Oli, Prime Minister of Nepal, leading a Nepali delegation to the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), arrived in New York today. The delegation includes Minister for Foreign Affairs Honorable Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, senior government officials and media persons.
On the sidelines of the UNGA, Prime Minister Oli will be called on by senior US officials including from the USAID and MCC.
Prime Minister Oli is also scheduled to address events at Columbia University in New York and Harvard University in Boston.
The Prime Minister was welcomed at the JFK International Airport by Permanent Representative of Nepal to the United Nations Lok Bahadur Thapa, Charge’ d’affaires Kumar Raj Kharel, and other officials at the Permanent Mission of Nepal and Nepali Consulate in New York.
