Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and Minister for Finance Hon. Bishnu Prasad Paudel held a meeting on October 23, 2024 with Vice President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Yingmin Yang. The discussion was focused on the review of existing portfolios and further areas of collaboration. DPM appreciated ADB for their continuous support towards Nepal’s development agenda, as well as ADB’s immediate support of USD 3 million grant as an immediate response to the recent flood and landslides in Nepal. VP Yang highlighted the importance of pipeline projects being carried out under ADB assistance and also updated DPM about the progress in the formulation of the new Country Partnership Strategy.
