Ambassador Khatiwada inaugurated a friendly soccer match between the teams of the Embassy and Baltimore Association of Nepalis in America (BANA) at Meadowood Regional Park ground in Baltimore, Maryland on August 28, 2021. The Embassy won the friendly match with score of 9-4. The friendly match was organized by BANA to promote Nepal-USA relations at the people’s level. At the closing of the match, the Ambassador distributed certificates and medals to the members of both teams.
